Our Principal Podiatrist Robert Dick has over 25 years’ experience working as a Podiatrist here on the Sunshine Coast.
Over the years, Robert has developed special skills in the areas of Orthopaedic assessment and management of complex foot problems.
In recent years he has aligned with a modern orthopaedic centre SCCO (Sunshine Coast Centre for Othopaedics). Here he provides advice and conservative management to the patients attending the clinic.
Robert began practicing Podiatry on the Sunshine Coast in 1992. After traveling the world in 1995, he returned to the Sunshine Coast and established Footsmart Podiatry. Starting in Nambour as a single podiatrist clinic. Footsmart Podiatry has since grown to be located in not only Nambour but throughout the Sunshine Coast. And has grown from one to four fully qualified podiatrists.
Robert has a keen interest in sport podiatry. Having previously played premier grade and representative rugby union in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast. He is an accredited member of the Australian Podiatry Association and an active member of Sports Medicine Australia. He has achieved Level 1 Accreditation for Baropodemetric and Postural Assessment and Cad Cam orthotic design. As a result, his special interests within Podiatry include lower limb biomechanics and computer walking assessment.
In addition to being a Podiatrist, Robert is a husband and a father. He lives locally here on the Sunshine Coast with his wife, two children and two Labrador dogs. He loves to spend his time running, surfing, snow skiing, fishing, and playing golf.
