Chris Knobel is the newest addition to the Footsmart Team in 2024. He comes with a broad knowledge of the human body, having been a chiropractor for most of his professional life. After studying in the US and working as a chiro for 15 years in Australia, he decided to have a change in pace and study podiatry.
Originally from Northeast Victoria, born and raised in Myrtleford. Chris moved and started studying podiatry at Charles Sturt University in NSW after a forced retirement from chiropracting. Moving again, Chris has now made the sea change to the Sunshine Coast to start his podiatry career with us at Footsmart Podiatry.
Chris Knobel thoroughly enjoys all aspects of podiatry care with a special interest in sports podiatry, utilizing mobilization and manipulation to improve foot function.
In his spare time he enjoys reading, kayak fishing, running, cycling and bush walking/hiking and camping. Chris is looking forward to assisting all patients with their footcare needs to improve their health and overall quality of life.
