Our Principal Podiatrist Rob has over 25 years’ experience in Podiatry, and has developed special skills in the areas of Orthopaedic assessment and management of complex foot problems.
He is aligned with a modern orthopaedic centre SCCO (Sunshine Coast Centre for Othopaedics) where he provides advice and conservative management to the patients attending this clinic. He has a keen interest in sport and has played premier grade and representative rugby union in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast, hanging up his boots at the end of season 2004. He began practicing Podiatry on the Sunshine Coast in 1992 with a well establish practice in Caloundra where he developed expertise in all aspects of Podiatry.
Rob is an accredited member of the Australian Podiatry Association and an active member of Sports Medicine Australia. He has achieved Level 1 Accreditation for Baropodemetric and Postural Assessment and Cad Cam orthotic design. His special interests within Podiatry include lower limb biomechanics and computer walking assessment, Diabetic Footcare, Paediatrics, and Postural medicine. Robert’s personal interests include running, surfing, snow skiing, fishing, and golf.

Renee studied Podiatry at the University of Newcastle and commenced work in one of far North Queensland’s leading sports podiatry practices after graduating. Renee worked for over four years treating a variety of musculoskeletal complaints ranging from children to the elderly and professional athletes to those simply looking to kick off a healthier lifestyle on the right foot (or left!).
Renee has a keen interest in diabetes and other chronic health complaints, and a passion to overall help improve one’s quality of life.
She is thorough with all aspects of her work including general care (nails, corns, callous), nail surgery and biomechanics, and she enjoys building relationships with her patients.
Renee treats her patient’s feet and lower limb’s as if they were her own.
B. Pod, M.A.Pod.A
Holly graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science (Podiatry) in 2007. Since a young age, she has had a desire to work in the health field.
Having worked for Barry Hawes and Associates Podiatrists since graduating, Holly joined the team at Footsmart in 2015.
Her major interest in Podiatry include diabetic management and education, general podiatry and dermatology. Holly has also developed specialised skills in prescribing and fitting medical grade compression stockings.
She continues to grow her clinical knowledge with regular attendance of conferences and workshops at a state and national level.
B. Pod, M.A.Pod.A, M Wound Australia, YOGA
Dani holds a bachelor of Podiatric Medicine from Charles Sturt university and been working in private practice on the Sunshine Coast since 2018, and is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association, Yoga Australia and Wounds Australia. She is trained in many therapies including stretching, massage, joint mobilising and dry needling.
Dani’s interests include rehabilitation and maintenance to help support full-body comfort as we age. Dani has been a yoga, group fitness and Pilates teacher for more than ten years and loves putting together programs to encourage maximum lower limb function with minimal pain.
When not treating your feet she would be seen to be playing the keyboard or signing in her band. She is also an avid mountain bike rider and can speak fluent French.
